We are a small, first-generation family farm located in Jonesborough, Tennessee. We raise heritage breed hogs on pasture, rotate them to get the most out of the land's nutrients and use while supplementing with NON-GMO grains grown and milled locally. This means healthy pork.
We value the lives of all animals and put the pig’s well-being front and center in our business. We strive to manage our land ethically while raising our hogs humanely. We are a farrow to finish farm. Our hogs are born and raised on our farm. They live outdoors with companions and space to roam and play - efficiently limiting disease, boredom and stress. This means happy hogs.

Why Are We Here?
Food Transparency and Small-Scale Sustainable Food Systems.
We began raising hogs and selling pork because we were fed up with a lack of transparency in our food system. To make our process more transparent, we document the lives of our hogs on our blog and Facebook so that our customers know that we do what we say we do. We also encourage customers to visit our farm so that they can verify where their food comes from. That, to us, is food transparency.
We believe in the importance of small, local food systems and are excited to be able to do our part in providing food to our local community. We utilize local businesses to supply many of our farm and product needs from our feed supplier, the inputs in our value-added products, our local USDA meat processor, and more. We will not grow big to supply systems outside of our area - that would go against our beliefs. This is our commitment to support small-scale sustainable food systems.
